Who this is

This site is operated by Jesse Media, a cinematography practice run by Jesse Rostotski in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Using the site means accepting these terms.

The work on this site is owned

Every film, frame, still, edit, and piece of writing published here, along with the design and code of the site itself, is protected by copyright. Unless stated otherwise, it belongs to Jesse Media or is published here under licence from the client who commissioned it.

Client work appears in this portfolio with the client's permission. Brand names, logos, and trade marks belonging to those clients remain theirs.

What you may do

View the site, and link to it. Share a link to a page or a film freely. Quote a short passage of text with credit to Jesse Media and a link back.

What you may not do

• Download, rip, copy, or re-host any film or still from this site, in whole or in part.
• Re-upload the work to any platform, including social media, as your own or as unattributed content.
• Re-edit, recut, crop, restyle, or make derivative work from anything published here.
• Use any of it in a commercial, promotional, or client-facing context without a written licence.
• Remove or obscure any credit, watermark, or copyright notice.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the site, or use its contents to train, fine-tune, or evaluate a machine learning or generative model. This applies whether the collection is manual or automated.

Licensing

If you want to use a film or a still for something, ask. Usage is granted in writing and is normally scoped to a defined medium, territory, and term. Get in touch and describe the use you have in mind.
